Ruth Cyster-Stuettgen is a powerful speaker. She is able to hold the room and deliver a meaningful story that captivates and enthrals. At her recent book launch Ruth took her speaking to another level and shared a heartwarming tale that took the audience on a journey with her. Ruth spoke with certainty and purpose and would make a great speaker at any business and life empowerment event or conference. Stuart Denman - Co-Owner Ultimate 48 Hour Author
Ruth Cyster-Stuettgen spoke at the Annual General Meeting of the Heathmont Women’s Fellowship on Thursday 8th October. With her friendly and personal manner, she immediately engaged with her listeners; her humour and some short opportunities for audience participation also helped with the feeling of involvement. She told us something of her own story of domestic violence, but did not dwell on that or point fingers of blame. Rather she talked about the different kinds of abuse and her attempt to be a voice for all those who feel they can not speak out. One of these ways was the writing of her recent book - “From Misery to Mastery - Journey to Freedom and Mastery”. The more people can be open about this tragedy in our society, the more ways can be found to alleviate the problem. The fact that several of her books were sold on the night says something about the degree of interest and shared concern. We were very pleased to have this positive and interesting person speak to our AGM. - Marjorie Roberts, President
You are so inspirational! I hope I will be like that when I my children are older! - Book launch (From Misery to Mastery) participant
You have a real presence about you. I noticed you as soon as you walked into the room this morning. - Workshop participant
I started reading your book (From Misery to Mastery - Journey to Freedom and Empowerment) at 3 a.m. one night and couldn't put it down. The more I read, the more I wanted to know. When I finished, I thought 'So much has happened, so little did we know.' Levona P
Firstly I want to thank you so much for your book and that you were good enough to drop it off to me. Most appreciated. Secondly, OMG Ruth it was the most wonderful book I have read for a very long time. Words can't express how proud I am of you to see how you totally changed your life from being in a marriage of abuse/violence to now being this powerful, strong, resilient woman who has not only turned your life around but are helping so many other woman/men in similar situations. I will use some of your strategies as I myself was at at a real low last year and seeing a psychologist. I still suffer with depression and she helped to some degree but your book has definately given me some more motivational skills to work with. I could not put your book down on Sat. Finished it this morning as we were out yesterday to Matt's parents for fathers day. Congrats once again on such a well written and successful book and i wish you all the very best for your future. - Leanne Reeves
You're amazing. Owned your space (last night). Stay strong and empower others. - Marilou Coombe
